We’re on the lookout for an ICT Apprentice to join our expanding IT support team in Harrogate. This is your chance to get hands-on with real tech, learn from experienced pros, and build your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
Your apprenticeship will be delivered through Estio, the apprenticeship provider, as you work towards a Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification.
What you\’ll be doing:
- You\’ll learn every week through online training with Estio and occasional visits to other offices across the firm
- Fixing hardware, supporting telephony systems, helping with national rollouts, and working closely with our IT Helpdesk to keep everything running smoothly.
- Support colleagues across the UK with IT issues, from laptops and printers to video calls and networks
- Help set up and send out IT kit for new starters
- Assist with telephony and wider IT projects like security checks and software installs
What we’re looking for:
- Passion for IT and problem-solving
- Confident with computers and tech
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Organised and eager to learn
- 5 GCSEs (grades 9-4/A*-C) including English and Maths, or equivalent
Where could this take you?
With us, this apprenticeship is just the start. You’ll get the chance to grow into roles like Network Engineer, Systems Administrator, IT Project Manager, Cyber Security Analyst, or Cloud Support Engineer with plenty of support along the way.
Hours & Salary
- £16,550 a year
- 35 Hours, working Monday to Friday 9-5 with a 1-hour lunch
- Must be within a suitable commuting distance to the Harrogate office (4 days working from the office)
- Training provider: Estio Training will be supporting the apprenticeship
