The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving occupancy, revenue growth and sales excellence across Stow Healthcare’s existing portfolio of homes in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Acting as a senior commercial leader, the role will support and develop Home Managers and Sales teams, ensuring consistent delivery of a high-quality, relationship-led sales experience aligned with Stow Healthcare’s values and brand. This is a hands-on role, balancing strategic oversight with operational involvement, coaching teams to maximise enquiry conversion while building strong referral networks across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Performance
  • Deliver regional occupancy and revenue targets across the existing portfolio
  • Analyse performance data, forecasts and KPIs to identify opportunities and risks
  • Implement and embed best-practice sales processes to improve enquiry handling and conversion
  • Drive a culture of accountability, professionalism and customer-centric selling
  • Team Development & Support
    • Coach, mentor and develop Home Managers and Sales colleagues to achieve strong and consistent results
    • Conduct regular reviews, pipeline meetings and one-to-one coaching
    • Identify training needs and work closely with central teams to upskill sales capability
    • Act as a visible, supportive leader across the region
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key local stakeholders, referrers and influencers
    • Support homes with community engagement, events and partnership activity
    • Act as a senior ambassador for Stow Healthcare, promoting its values, quality and reputation
  • Strategy & Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations and Care teams to align commercial and operational goals
    • Support the implementation of regional and group sales strategies
    • Share insight and best practice across the wider business to drive continuous improvement
  • Governance & Brand Standards
    • Ensure all sales activity complies with regulatory, ethical and company standards
    • Champion the Stow Healthcare brand, ensuring a consistent and premium customer experience
    • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform regional strategy

    Skills & Experience

    • Essential:
    • Proven experience in a regional or senior sales role, ideally within care, hospitality, property or a service-led environment
    • Strong track record of delivering occupancy or revenue targets across multiple locations
    • Experience coaching and developing high-performing sales teams
    • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate insight into action
    • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Desirable:
    • Experience within the private care or retirement living sector
    • Knowledge of the Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex care market
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
