About Ford Place
Currently rated as Outstanding with CQC, we\’re looking for a Care Home Manager to inspire and guide our established team in Thetford, caring for up to 55 residents who call our home their home. Here, no two days are the same. You\’ll be at the heart of a vibrant and supportive community, providing specialist nursing care, complex support, and end-of-life care for residents aged 18 to 64 as well as those 65 and over. It\’s about creating a place filled with warmth, dignity, and joy, where residents live with comfort and families feel peace of mind.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and continuous improvement
The Skills you\’ll need
- Proven experience in managing a nursing or residential care home
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Clinical background (RGN/RMN/RNLD) essential
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and best practices in elderly care
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
