Chilmington Green Primary School are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to provide wrap‑around care for our children at the After School Club. This role involves delivering a programme of fun and engaging activities each day, providing simple afternoon food, supervising the children during meals to promote the Trust family dining ethos, and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the children in your care. You will also help build strong relationships between children, parents and school staff.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily activities and programme for children aged 4 to 11.
  • Provide simple food, supervise meals and promote family dining values.
  • Maintain the wellbeing and safety of all children in care.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with children, parents and staff.

Qualifications and personal qualities:

  • Inspirational, fun and creative.
  • Energetic, reliable, adaptable and flexible.
  • Excellent communication skills and a people person.
  • Ability to relate and engage with children aged 4–11.
  • Caring, responsible and dedicated.

Work details:

  • Term time only working (38 weeks) plus 5 weeks holiday pay.
  • After‑School Club, Monday–Friday 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm (5 hours).
  • Pro‑rated salary approximately £2,813 per year (gross).

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
