Student Support Officer

Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for a Student Support Officer to join Stour Valley Community School, duties include:

• Support the Raising Standards Leads in providing pastoral care and behaviour support to the students
• Support the systems that will enable the school to improve on the base figures on attendance and truancy as set by the government.
• Provide support to allow students to better cope with the challenges they face.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of working with children in a professional setting.
• The ability to write detailed reports, letters and complete complex returns.
• Ability to establish respectful and trusting relationships with children, their families, carers and other adults.
• Good organisational skills to manage your time effectively.
