Job Description Manage all aspects of the production process in a manufacturing area to ensure proper coordination between all company departments and the manufacturing line. Understand the organization\’s support functions (engineering, sales, accounting, supply chain, human resources, and manufacturing) to effectively communicate, plan, and resolve issues with the production team. Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions. Ensure that contributions from each department are properly incorporated into our products to deliver high-quality, safe products to our customers. Manage employees to develop effective employee relations, adhere to health and safety management systems, meet productivity levels, minimize turnover, maintain proper inventory levels, and uphold high-quality standards. Provide coaching and development opportunities for employees. Partner with Human Resources to resolve employee issues, issue discipline, and make employment decisions as necessary. Continuously improve all areas and utilize the Good to Go process to monitor daily activities across departments. Conduct accident investigations and recommend solutions to prevent future incidents. Track absenteeism, approve vacations, and manage timesheets weekly for all direct reports. Comply with and manage company and department policies and procedures. Qualifications Education: Bachelor\’s Degree in Business Management or 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing supervision role.
