We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a high-profile engineering programme, leading the delivery of complex software and hardware products within a secure environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical leader who can manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, drive programme delivery and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest quality standards. Whilst this is not a hands-on development role, you will need to be technically credible and capable of providing leadership across software and FPGA engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of complex engineering projects across a portfolio of programmes.
  • Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Software and FPGA Engineers.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
  • Oversee engineering planning, resource allocation and delivery priorities.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies and technical issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Work closely with Programme Managers, Engineering Managers and key stakeholders.
