We're looking for an experienced Back-end Engineer/Architect to lead the development of a next-generation payment processing platform. You'll design and implement scalable, resilient microservices, optimise performance, and modernise our payment systems using cloud technologies and containerisation.
Required Skills
- 10+ years in back-end microservices development, mainly with Java, Go, or Rust
- Expertise in distributed systems, Spring Boot, and application security
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and observability tools
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and SQL/databases
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with financial payments, cyber security, and team mentoring
Qualifications
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
- 15+ years' experience, with at least 10 focused on API and microservices architecture
