We are looking for an experienced Data Lead to drive a critical data transformation programme. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact data workstream, working with modern Azure technologies and managing a hybrid onsite/offshore delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of an in-flight data transformation workstream.
- Drive data readiness activities for testing, cutover, go-live, and operational support.
- Coordinate data across ERP, manufacturing, planning, and supply chain platforms.
- Oversee data quality, governance, validation, and migration activities.
- Lead an offshore analytics and engineering pod, ensuring successful delivery.
- Engage with business stakeholders, technology teams, and programme leadership.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across the data landscape.
- Support analytics and reporting capabilities using Azure and Power BI.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience delivering Data Engineering, Data Management, or Data Migration programmes.
- Proven leadership within large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, ADF/Fabric, SQL, and Power BI.
- Experience working with ERP and manufacturing systems, including SAP S/4HANA and MES platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
- Experience managing onsite/offshore delivery teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and programme delivery skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Food manufacturing, FMCG, or supply chain industry experience.
- Experience supporting cutover, go-live, or plant transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of modern analytics platforms and data lake architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and data compliance requirements.
