Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to take ownership of integrated planning across a complex technology and data transformation programme. This is a critical leadership role, responsible for ensuring alignment across domains, suppliers, and delivery teams while maintaining a clear, executable end-to-end plan.

Initial Focus (First 3 Months)

  • Define and implement the integrated planning strategy and operating model
  • Establish planning standards, governance cadence, and reporting frameworks
  • Build the baseline integrated delivery plan across technology, data, and suppliers
  • Set up RAID processes, dependency mapping, and critical path visibility
  • Identify sequencing risks, interdependencies, and delivery constraints
  • Align stakeholders and embed planning tools, controls, and processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern integrated planning across all programme domains
  • Maintain a single, consolidated view of delivery across teams and suppliers
  • Manage dependencies, critical path, risks, and ongoing re-planning
  • Ensure planning assumptions, risks, and decisions are reflected in delivery plans
  • Drive cross-domain coordination and resolve planning conflicts
  • Provide consolidated reporting, insights, and recommendations to governance forums
  • Support PI planning, release planning, environment and test planning
  • Oversee cross-supplier delivery alignment and integrated execution

About You

  • Proven experience leading planning on large-scale technology programmes
  • Strong understanding of dependencies, critical path, and integrated delivery models
  • Experience working across multiple suppliers and complex ecosystems
  • Skilled in governance, stakeholder engagement, and programme reporting
  • Familiar with Agile / SAFe and traditional delivery frameworks
