Job Summary:
My client is searching for an experienced Senior Defect Manager for a 12-month contract within the Payments and Financial Services domains. In this role, you will manage defect triage, reporting, and resolution efforts, taking accountability for the defect lifecycle, and driving quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defect Management: Oversee lifecycle, ensuring thorough documentation and root cause analysis.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as main contact for escalations, managing senior stakeholder expectations.
- Triage & Escalation: Lead sessions, escalate issues, and facilitate resolutions.
- Project Support: Coordinate defect handling across projects, optimizing efficiency with Test Managers.
Experience Required:
- Strong experience in JIRA (Rich Filters and dashboards)
- Strong Payments/Financial Services background.
- Exceptional attention to detail, resilience in defect resolution, and advanced communication skills.
- Skills in conflict management, adaptability, and proactive problem solving.
