Job Title: Security Architecture Reviewer (SAR)
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
Start Date: 5th March 2026
Type: Contract

Role Description

As a Security Architecture Reviewer, you will design and implement security solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. You will be a key player in ensuring security is \’baked in\’ across all technology projects, spanning cloud services and on-premises systems. Your impact will involve identifying vulnerabilities, recommending remedial actions, and leading the adoption of emerging security technologies to keep the organization ahead of modern threats.

Key Responsibilities

Design Patterns: Develop Security Architecture Design Patterns and Standards in line with group requirements and industry best practices.

Control Framework: Assist in the development and maturation of a Security Architecture control framework.

New Tech Research: Research and document the security posture and controls for all new technology introduced to the Group.

Risk Evaluation: Lead the evaluation of risks identified in systems, proposing both tactical and strategic remediation plans.

Secure by Design: Actively lead Threat Modelling activities and promote secure-by-design practices with technical delivery teams.

Technical Excellence: Nurture secure technical practices and support innovation in solving complex security problems.

Metrics & Reporting: Contribute to the development of metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the Security Architecture function.

Knowledge Management: Contribute to the Security Architecture intranet and internal documentation standards.

Mentorship: Guide and mentor other team members to elevate the team\’s collective security expertise.

Key Skills & Experience

Experience: Extensive background in security, architecture, and design.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of security standards, protocols, and industry best practices.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable in a client-facing environment.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional, team-oriented environments.
Tools: Proficiency in modern security and project management toolsets.
Aptitude: A strong desire to stay updated with the latest security trends and emerging technologies.
