?? Network & Security L2 Administrator – Onsite

Are you ready to take your network and security expertise to new heights? We\’re hiring a Network & Security L2 Admin to support a high-profile client in the aviation industry. This is an onsite role based at a prestigious location in West Drayton, offering hands-on work in a dynamic, enterprise-scale environment.

?? Location: West Drayton
?? Duration: 6-month initial contract with strong extension potential
?? Work Pattern: 24/7 environment with rotational shifts and days off

?? Your Responsibilities:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across the full OSI stack (layers 1-7)

Handle incidents, triage network issues, and escalate or coordinate with vendors when required

Administer and support Cisco WLAN Controllers, Access Points, Firewalls, VPNs, NAT policies, and software patching

Manage and troubleshoot key protocols and technologies: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, FHRP, DMVPN, VRF, etc.

Support LAN/WAN/SD-WAN networks in a global enterprise environment

DNS, DHCP, and IPAM implementation and troubleshooting

Manage SSL certificate renewals, F5 LTM (load balancing), and related iRules

Conduct root cause analysis and proactive monitoring using tools like SolarWinds, CA Spectrum, and others

Manage major incidents and vendor relationships effectively

?? Your Profile:
Must-Have Skills:

Hands-on experience in Routing & Switching (Cisco/Juniper)

Strong grasp of core data centre network protocols (OSPF, BGP)

Firewall expertise (Checkpoint, Cisco), VPN and security policy management

Cisco Wireless, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP, and F5 LTM administration

Certifications: CCNP, CCSA, F5 Certified

Nice-to-Haves:

Cisco Meraki and Cisco ISE

AWS Networking

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as BIG IQ, NetBrain, ThousandEyes, and Checkpoint monitoring
