Requirements

  • We require an SC clearance, or you must be willing to undergo clearance.
  • Degree in Engineering or a STEM-related discipline.
  • Understanding of assembly, integration and test (AIT) principles.
  • Experience with hardware and software testing.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom and ESD processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with spacecraft systems or high-reliability engineering environments is advantageous.
  • Exposure to scripting or programming (Python, Shell, Java or C/C++) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • We support assembly, integration and functional testing of aerospace equipment and systems.
  • We develop and execute test procedures, analysing results to identify issues and improvements.
  • We diagnose and resolve technical faults during integration and test activities.
  • We produce and maintain accurate technical documentation and test records.
  • We collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • We adhere to cleanroom and ESD procedures, maintaining full product traceability.

We are looking for an AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) Engineer to support the integration, testing and verification of complex aerospace systems.

This is an onsite role in Surrey, starting as soon as possible, with a duration of 6-12 months.

You will work across the full engineering lifecycle, from integration and functional testing through to environmental and end-to-end system testing.
