We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution Architect for an initial 6-month contract (Outside IR35) to lead the design, architecture, and technical execution of enterprise multi-channel marketing automation solutions.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical delivery, serving as the trusted technical authority translating complex marketing objectives into scalable, high-performing architectures across the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, migrations, and enhancements.
- Design robust data models and seamless integration patterns connecting SFMC with Core Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud), Data Cloud and enterprise data warehouses (Snowflake, Big Query, etc.).
- Guide implementation teams, developers, and platform admins on best practices for Automation Studio, Journey Builder, SSJS, AMPscript, and SQL queries.
- Partner closely with marketing operations, enterprise architects, and business leaders to align technical strategy with core business KPIs.
- Establish data governance, security protocols, API management, and campaign execution standards across the platform.
- What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions at scale.
- Familiarity or hands-on exposure to Marketing Cloud Next features, including Data Cloud integrations, unified customer profiles, and Agentforce / generative AI capabilities in marketing.
- Deep proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and SFMC data extension schemas.
- Advanced knowledge of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Mobile Connect/Push, and Intelligence (Datorama).
- Solid understanding of Marketing Cloud Connect (MCC), webhooks, and ETL data pipelines.
- Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications preferred
