JD:
System Upgrades and Patch Management
• Perform periodic upgrades of Business Objects as new versions become available.
• Apply security patches, bug fixes, and performance enhancements as released by the vendors.
• Conduct pre-upgrade assessments, including compatibility checks and testing.
• Ensure minimal disruption by scheduling upgrades during agreed maintenance windows.
• Provide rollback procedures in case of upgrade failures. System Monitoring and Performance Tuning
• Monitor system health, including server performance, memory usage, and query efficiency.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize configurations to improve responsiveness.
• Provide recommendations on system scaling and capacity planning. User Support and Issue Resolution
• Offer technical assistance to users experiencing issues with Tableau/Business Objects.
• Troubleshoot report generation failures, dashboard performance issues, and connectivity problems.
• Maintain a ticketing system for logging and tracking issues, with agreed response and resolution times. Backup and Disaster Recovery Support
• Support in the regular backups of Tableau/Business Objects environments.
• Support recovery procedures in case of data corruption, server failures, or cyber incidents.
• Conduct periodic disaster recovery drills to validate system resilience. Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain an updated knowledge base for troubleshooting and best practices.
