PMO Planner

Location: Hampshire, Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)

**MUST have experience setting up projects from scratch**

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to take ownership of integrated planning across a complex technology and data transformation programme. This is a critical leadership role, responsible for ensuring alignment across domains, suppliers, and delivery teams while maintaining a clear, executable end-to-end plan.

Initial Focus (First 3 Months)

β€’ Define and implement the integrated planning strategy and operating model

β€’ Establish planning standards, governance cadence, and reporting frameworks

β€’ Build the baseline integrated delivery plan across technology, data, and suppliers

β€’ Set up RAID processes, dependency mapping, and critical path visibility

β€’ Identify sequencing risks, interdependencies, and delivery constraints

β€’ Align stakeholders and embed planning tools, controls, and processes

Key Responsibilities

β€’ Lead and govern integrated planning across all programme domains

β€’ Maintain a single, consolidated view of delivery across teams and suppliers

β€’ Manage dependencies, critical path, risks, and ongoing re-planning

β€’ Ensure planning assumptions, risks, and decisions are reflected in delivery plans

β€’ Drive cross-domain coordination and resolve planning conflicts

β€’ Provide consolidated reporting, insights, and recommendations to governance forums

β€’ Support PI planning, release planning, environment and test planning

β€’ Oversee cross-supplier delivery alignment and integrated execution

About You

β€’ Proven experience leading planning on large-scale technology programmes

β€’ Strong understanding of dependencies, critical path, and integrated delivery models

β€’ Experience working across multiple suppliers and complex ecosystems

β€’ Skilled in governance, stakeholder engagement, and programme reporting

β€’ Familiar with Agile / SAFe and traditional delivery frameworks
