We are seeking a Shift Technician to support operations within a critical facilities environment. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, contractor supervision, and ensuring safe, reliable site operations.
Key Duties
- Planned and reactive M&E maintenance
- Complete work orders in line with SLAs using a CMM
- Supervise and escort contractors
- Issue permits to work and carry out authorised isolations
- Monitor critical services and environmental systems
- Log incidents and escalate issues
- Support minor installation and repair works
- Work as part of a shift team, including cover for holidays and sickness
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent (Electrical or Mechanical)
- 18th Edition (or equivalent)
- Experience in a critical or high-availability environment
- Good H&S and permit-to-work knowledge
- Strong communication and basic IT skills

- Shift-based role including weekends and bank holidays
- Physically fit and comfortable working at height
