Our client is opening a brand-new Data Centre and is looking for Electrical Shift Engineers to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for electrically qualified professionals (with 18th Edition) who want to step into the exciting and fast-growing data centre industry. You will be part of a skilled team keeping critical systems running 24/7 in a state-of-the-art facility.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Operating and maintaining electrical systems to the highest standards
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Identifying and fixing electrical faults quickly and effectively
- Supporting with installations and modifications of site electrical services
- Monitoring and troubleshooting systems such as:
- Building electrical installations and lighting
- Fire detection and suppression systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Air conditioning, heating, and ventilation
- UPS systems, generators, and controls
What They Are Looking For:
- C&G Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent) in Electrical Services/Maintenance
- 18th Edition qualified
- Previous experience in building services or facilities engineering
- Strong understanding of UPS, generators, HVAC, or critical systems (preferred)
- A proactive, reliable, and safety-first approach
- Great communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
