Overview

We are partnering with a leading fashion retail and ecommerce business to appoint a Senior Ecommerce Trading Manager to take ownership of onsite trading performance across multiple digital channels and consumer brands. This is a senior, hands-on ecommerce leadership role suited to someone who thrives within fast-paced retail environments and is passionate about delivering sustainable commercial growth through strong trading execution, customer experience and team leadership. Reporting directly to the Director of Ecommerce, the successful candidate will lead onsite trading strategy, forecasting, promotional planning and performance optimisation across websites, apps and digital concession channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver online sales performance across multiple digital channels
  • Develop and manage trading forecasts, identifying risks and commercial opportunities
  • Lead onsite trading activity including promotions, campaigns and product launches
  • Support major trading events and peak periods through robust planning and analysis
  • Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing and Operations teams to align stock, messaging and execution
  • Optimise onsite customer journeys, UX and merchandising to improve conversion and revenue performance
  • Own the onsite trading and content calendar across all digital touchpoints
  • Lead testing and optimisation initiatives to improve user experience and onsite engagement
  • Ensure brand consistency and strong storytelling across all ecommerce platforms
  • Own onsite trading and performance reporting across all ecommerce channels
  • Use analytics and web tools to identify trends, opportunities and performance improvements
  • Translate trading insight into clear commercial actions and recommendations
  • Maintain high standards of reporting accuracy, consistency and commercial focus
  • Lead and develop a high-performing ecommerce trading team
  • Set clear expectations, accountability and performance objectives
  • Support team development through coaching and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Foster a collaborative and commercially driven team culture
