The Project/Programme Director is responsible for Delivery Management – defining optimal project approaches, overseeing the successful delivery and governance of large-scale enterprise projects, and ensuring business growth through strategic client engagement. This leadership role involves directing programmes and managing complex SAP engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong C-level relationships, ensuring successful project outcomes and long-term business growth.
• Drive strategic discussions, aligning project scope, timing, and business impact.
• Provide expert guidance on integration, risk management, and project execution.
• Ensure projects are well-contracted, achieving financial targets.

Project & Programme Delivery

• Define and implement best-practice delivery methodologies, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Lead project teams, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain quality standards, enforce change control, and report on project performance.
• Ensure seamless collaboration between teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Leadership & Team Development

• Mentor and develop project teams, driving professional growth and high performance.
• Support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and continuous skill development.
• Contribute to business-wide capability building and best-practice initiatives.

Revenue & Business Growth

• Drive revenue generation, ensuring project profitability and operational efficiency.
• Manage client portfolios, maximizing resource utilization and financial performance.
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to expand service offerings.

Requirements

• Extensive SAP experience in project/programme management, including multiple full SAP lifecycle implementations
• Expertise in SAP solutions across industries such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and consumer products.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to manage multimillion-pound projects
• Prince2, Agile, or SAP Activate certification preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

This is a delivery-focused role, with minimal business development responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring gravitas, strategic vision, and a hands-on approach to delivering complex enterprise projects successfully.
