This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments and is ready to take full ownership of the product lifecycle—from discovery through to delivery and continuous optimisation.
While prior experience in the travel industry would be beneficial, it is not essential. What matters most is your ability to manage products end-to-end, engage stakeholders effectively, and drive results through collaboration and customer-centric thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Product Ownership
- Lead the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and requirement gathering to launch and iterative improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, commercial, and design to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Ensure features and products are aligned with user needs, business goals, and market trends.
Roadmap & Delivery Management
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps that reflect strategic priorities.
- Coordinate development timelines, release planning, testing, and communication across teams.
- Manage the go-to-market process, ensuring effective rollout and adoption.
Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage relationships with external technology providers and service vendors.
- Align third-party roadmaps with internal product objectives and ensure delivery meets agreed standards.
- Facilitate regular service reviews and escalate risks or issues where necessary.
Market Awareness & Competitive Insight
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to identify product gaps and innovation opportunities.
- Bring industry insight into product planning discussions and decision-making.
Communication & Collaboration
- Act as a product advocate across the business, clearly articulating value propositions, roadmaps, and updates.
- Lead product demos, internal training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Work within an agile and collaborative environment to maintain momentum on key deliverables.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience (ideally 3+ years) in a Product Manager role within a technology-led environment.
- A background in or exposure to travel-related products (rail, car hire, etc.) is a bonus, but not essential.
- Strong understanding of systems integration and workflows, particularly with third-party platforms.
- Comfortable translating complex user needs into clear product requirements.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Confident communicator with experience in leading presentations and workshops.
- Agile mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
