Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Onsite)
Day Rate: £425 per day (Inside IR35)

Overview
We are supporting a leading global organisation in their search for an experienced Data Analyst to join their European data function on a 12-month contract.
This role will play a key part in supporting strategic business initiatives through data-driven insights, reporting, and analytics. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will help deliver new data capabilities, enhance reporting platforms, and provide analytical support for both strategic programmes and day-to-day business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other BI tools.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to support business and operational decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries, data models, and reporting solutions.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Support forecasting, trend analysis, and predictive modelling initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
- Document analytical methodologies, data definitions, and reporting processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvements through reporting automation and process optimisation.

- Proven commercial experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data querying and analysis.
- Experience building dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau.
