Stott and May are excited to be working with an innovative software business that is disrupting the Smart Homes Space. They help customers by making buildings more climate-friendly, more comfortable, and more affordable using Smart connected devices (IoT), simple products and high processing and service quality.
Due to continued growth, we’re hiring a Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer to join the Platform team. You’ll help design, build, and operate the AWS- and Kubernetes-based platform, supporting product teams through reliable, scalable infrastructure.
What you’ll do:
- Design, operate, and improve our AWS + Kubernetes platform (including hybrid/on-prem integrations)
- Own key areas such as Kubernetes, observability, networking, or infrastructure as code
- Run production AWS environments and Kubernetes clusters (upgrades, security, reliability)
- Build and maintain GitOps workflows with Argo CD and contribute to CI/CD patterns
- Operate and evolve our observability stack (Prometheus, Thanos, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry)
- Define meaningful SLOs, dashboards, and alerting
- Work on Kubernetes networking, ingress, traffic routing, and Envoy-based components
- Build and maintain Terraform modules; migrate existing infrastructure to IaC
- Collaborate with the Platform team on design, incidents, and on-call
- Support product teams with clear platform interfaces and documentation
Experience:
- 10+ years in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps roles
- Strong AWS production experience
