A highly specialised cyber-insurance startup/scaleup business is looking to hire 3 Security Consultants with a focus on incident response and security maturity. The business is performing extremely well, with revenue doubling year-on-year. They are now at a stage where they are ready to double their headcount.
The founders of the business have proven experience growing startups from scratch through to IPO. The business is profitable and very stable; they do not rely on any external funding.
As a security consultant, you will work closely with clients to get an in-depth understanding of their security posture. Responsibilities include:
- Performing maturity assessments
- Improving and updating incident response plans
- Conducting table-top exercises
- Running workshops with clients
- Implementing security controls
- Improving risk management processes
- Ensuring security compliance
Ideally, you will have experience working with companies during or after a cyber breach, building back security and rolling out new security controls to protect from future incidents. You will also be involved in creating business continuity plans and presenting security risks to executives and board-level members.
This role will allow for very fast progression and development. The company can hire these consultants at a range of levels, with a salary range of £60k - £100k, plus a bonus on top.
