We are seeking a Shift Technician to support operations within a critical facilities environment. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, contractor supervision, and ensuring safe, reliable site operations.

Key Duties

  • Planned and reactive M&E maintenance
  • Complete work orders in line with SLAs using a CMMS
  • Supervise and escort contractors
  • Issue permits to work and carry out authorised isolations
  • Monitor critical services and environmental systems
  • Log incidents and escalate issues
  • Support minor installation and repair works
  • Work as part of a shift team, including cover for holidays and sickness

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • 18th Edition (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a critical or high-availability environment
  • Good H&S and permit-to-work knowledge
  • Strong communication and basic IT skills

Additional Information

  • Shift-based role including weekends and bank holidays
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at height
