D365 HR Functional Consultant
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: hybrid, must be accessible to Lincolnshire ad hoc
Pay: Inside IR35, negotiable DoE
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with a strong track record in implementing HR modules within D365 Finance and AX 2012. This is a key role within a high-profile transformation programme, requiring both hands-on configuration expertise and stakeholder management skills.
You’ll lead on functional delivery, guiding clients through the full implementation lifecycle—from requirements gathering through to go-live and post-launch support.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead and deliver D365 HR module implementations, ensuring alignment with business needs
– Analyse and translate business processes into functional designs and documentation
– Configure, test, and demonstrate D365 HR functionality
– Manage data migration and system integration testing for HR modules
– Support UAT, cutover planning, and go-live activities
– Lead and mentor consultants, owning key deliverables and client engagement
– Conduct workshops, facilitate decisions, and manage stakeholder expectations
Essential Skills & Experience
– Proven experience implementing D365 HR modules (essential)
– Experience with AX 2012 and D365 Finance
– 3–4 full lifecycle implementations
– Strong understanding of HR data entities and data migration strategies
– Confident stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation
– Skilled in functional design, documentation, and DevOps tracking
– Microsoft Dynamics certifications preferred
