Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to join an enterprise programme delivering complex data solutions in support of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) projects. This is an exciting opportunity to design and implement robust, scalable, and insight-driven data architectures using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver data integration solutions between D365 CE and Microsoft Fabric components.
- Translate business and CRM requirements into scalable data models and pipelines.
- Develop patterns for real-time and batch ingestion from Dataverse into the Fabric ecosystem.
- Design and enforce data governance, quality, and security aligned with enterprise standards.
- Enable analytics and reporting via clean, well-structured datasets optimised for Power BI.
- Leverage Fabric tools—including OneLake, Synapse, Event Stream, and Data Activator—to support CE-related data flows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record delivering projects using Microsoft Fabric and Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform.
- Deep understanding of D365 CE data architecture (Dataverse, Common Data Model, API integrations).
- Proficient with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, Lakehouse architecture, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of CRM business domains: Sales, Marketing, Customer Service.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for data platforms, DevOps practices, and environment management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across CRM, data engineering, and business teams.
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Purview or other data governance tools in regulated industries.
- Understanding of customer insights, segmentation, and personalisation driven by CE data.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Data Engineering, or Dynamics 365.
