Cyber Security Project Manager Location: UK - Fully Remote Duration: 6 months IR35 Status: Inside IR35
About the Role
We areseeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to join a delivery team on an initial 6-month contract. You will build strong relationships with security stakeholders, becoming their trusted advisor across all elements of delivery. You will be equally comfortable operating in agile environments and adapting to traditional project management approaches as the business requires.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects (software/products, infrastructure and/or services) and produce all relevant project deliverables and artefacts
- Identify project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate in a timely manner
- Manage stakeholder expectations and satisfaction across varying levels of seniority
- Implement Business Change Management techniques to ensure changes are successfully communicated, deployed and adopted
- Maintain effective change control - assess and communicate project change impacts to keep all parties aligned
- Track and maintain project resources and budgets
- Develop and distribute timely status reports with key metrics to relevant stakeholders
- Follow and align with the organisation's governance framework and best practice
- Manage, coach and motivate the project team
- Drive open, honest communication and demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills
Required Experience
- Proven track record delivering complex changes into challenging environments across multiple geographies
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and resource utilisation
- Extensive experience working with geographically distributed on- and offshore teams
- Hands-on experience delivering cybersecurity projects and improving an organisation's security posture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to inspire confidence in senior business stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to respond to shifting priorities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity
- Demonstrated ability to deliver to time, cost and quality using tools, metrics and incremental delivery
Certifications
- Project management certification desirable: PRINCE2 or PRINCE2 Agile
- Security certification desirable: CISSP or equivalent
This is a contract role, inside IR35.
