Job Description

Cryptography SME – Contract (6 months) | Hybrid | Leamington/Gaydon

We're hiring a Cryptography Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help deliver secure, compliant cryptographic solutions for a major manufacturing client. This is a hybrid role, with occasional client site travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Define product vision and roadmap for cryptographic solutions.

Collaborate with engineering and security teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (FIPS 140-2, PCI-DSS, GDPR).

Translate complex cryptographic concepts into user-friendly features.

Stay ahead of security trends, compliance updates, and threats.

Act as the main point of contact for cryptography-related updates and risks.

Key Skills & Experience:

3-8 years' experience in cryptography.

Strong understanding of encryption algorithms, PKI, key management, and HSMs.

Experience in agile product management, roadmaps, and user stories.

Knowledge of regulatory and security standards.

Excellent analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
