As an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will design, deliver, and support cloud networking solutions, acting as the Technical Design Authority for network projects. You will provide architectural guidance, develop patterns, and ensure cloud solutions meet best practice and security standards. You will also build and deliver architectural training and contribute to cloud knowledge resources.

  • Design and deliver cloud networking solutions to customers
  • Act as the Technical Design Authority in network projects
  • Build and deliver architectural training to business teams
  • Design and deploy landing zones
  • Develop cloud solution architecture for application teams using cloud services
  • Build and document architectural patterns and standards
  • Maintain guidance and content for cloud knowledge wiki sites
  • Stay abreast of latest open source and cloud technologies, platforms, and service providers
  • Build stakeholder relationships and own cloud deliveries
  • Present and share knowledge with diverse audiences

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Provide consultancy, best practice guidance, and architectural support to internal teams
  • Proficient in AWS services, including AI and automation
  • Assess and select cloud technologies, create patterns, and ensure adherence to security and architecture best practice
  • Understand modern application architectures and their dependencies on enterprise cloud platforms
  • Enable self-service and automation capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and curiosity
  • Ability to articulate complex technical problems to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of Well-Architected Framework principles
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
