We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Business Central (BC) Consultant with strong technical expertise in release and deployment management. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of managing build pipelines, troubleshooting technical configuration issues and overseeing secure deployments across Business Central environments.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working within Central European Time (CET) hours and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and controlled release cycles. You will play a key role in managing the technical release lifecycle of Microsoft Business Central environments, ensuring deployments are executed efficiently, securely and with minimal disruption. You will be responsible for pipeline automation, environment configuration, troubleshooting and governance of release processes.
Key Responsibilities- Microsoft Business Central Technical Expertise
- Understand and manage Business Central environment topology
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BC implementations
- Diagnose and resolve configuration and infrastructure-related issues
- Release & Deployment Management
- Plan, coordinate and execute release cycles for BC developments
- Ensure smooth deployment across multiple environments with minimal downtime
- Monitor release processes to maintain quality and delivery standards
- Build Pipeline & CI/CD
- Design, implement and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines
- Optimise CI/CD workflows for Business Central projects
- Apply DevOps best practices to streamline deployment processes
- IT Installation & Infrastructure
- Troubleshoot installation and configuration issues across BC systems and components
- Ensure compliance with security, infrastructure and organisational standards
- Security & Governance
- Design, implement and troubleshoot security roles and permissions within BC
- Ensure access controls meet organisational security policies
- Support structured release governance processes (preferred)
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central technical implementations
- Strong expertise in release management and deployment strategies
- Proven experience setting up build pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Experience configuring and supporting BC infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools
