Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 + up to 15% bonus + 10% pension + benefits

MUST HAVE Insurance or Financial experience

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented BI Developer to support the BI function of a fast-paced and innovative Lloyd’s syndicate. You'll play a key role in maintaining and developing Power BI reporting solutions and data warehouse systems for internal and financial reporting. If you have a strong SQL background, experience in Power BI, and a basic understanding of the insurance market, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing BI solutions in cloud and on-premise environments
  • Creating and maintaining Power BI reports and models
  • Troubleshooting and triaging BI-related issues (Jira)
  • Supporting ETL development and DevOps pipelines
  • Monitoring and resolving daily job failures within agreed timeframes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs
  • Maintaining data architecture, warehouses, and databases
  • Ensuring full unit testing and change control before deployment

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong SQL coding skills
  • Experience in Power BI and Microsoft Office suite
  • A basic understanding of the Insurance market
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
