Storyybrook is a relational, trauma-informed SEMH primary provision for pupils aged 5–11. We believe behaviour is communication and create a safe, structured and nurturing environment where young people feel understood, supported and able to thrive. Our approach is centred around strong relationships, consistency and adapting learning to meet the needs of each individual child.

We are looking for a committed and reflective Primary Teacher who understands the complexities of SEMH and is passionate about making a meaningful difference. This role is not just about delivering lessons. It is about building trust, creating a calm and consistent environment, and supporting children to re-engage with learning at a pace that works for them. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support both the academic and emotional development of pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, adapted lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Differentiating learning to meet a wide range of needs, including SEMH and SEND
  • Support pupils to regulate, engage and build positive relationships
  • Use a relational, trauma-informed approach to behaviour
  • Create a calm, structured and predictable classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor both academic and holistic progress

About You
