We are looking for a caring, confident and motivated Night Shift Residential Care Home Supervisor to support the delivery of high quality person centred care for older people, including residents living with dementia. If you have a positive, can do attitude, experience in a care setting and the ability to lead and inspire a team, this could be the ideal role for you.
As a key member of the care team, you will help ensure residents are supported safely, respectfully and with dignity at all times. You will lead by example, promote best practice and support colleagues to deliver the highest standards of care. You will play an important role in care planning, supporting residents wellbeing and acting as an advocate for their needs, choices and rights. You will liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to help ensure residents receive the medical support and care they need.
Experience looking after older people, including people living with dementia. Confidence to lead motivate and support a care team. A good understanding of care planning and person centred practice. A caring professional approach and a commitment to residents safety dignity and wellbeing. SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential.
Registration with the Scottish Services Council is required on commencement of employment. This post is subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check.
