Storyville House Limited are currently seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to residents in our care home.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Duties will include

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating - Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity - Communicate effectively with residents, families and the care team - Follow care plans and support the Supervisor's to meet the individual needs of residents - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Qualifications: - Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable - Excellent communication skills and fluency in English - Ability to follow care plans and work effectively within a care team - Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in caring for others Successful applicants must complete all mandatory training and undertake additional training when required which is relevant to the job role.

The post is for 33 hours per week, with weekend working required.

Additional hours may be required to cover for sickness and annual leave.

The post is subject to PVG clearance and satisfactory references.

The applicant should be Registered with the SSSC and follow Kennedy Care Group (Holdings) Ltd policies and procedures .
