If you love solving puzzles, helping people, and getting stuck into new tech, this could be your perfect first step into the world of Application Support.

You’ll work within our support window of 08:00-18:00, following one of our rotating shifts: 8:30-17:30, 9:30-18:30, 9:00-18:00.

What you’ll be getting up to:

  • Help colleagues and clients by investigating issues and solving support tickets.
  • Troubleshoot application quirks and figure out what’s really going on under the hood.
  • Work with developers, product teams and other techies to solve bigger challenges.
  • Keep track of support requests in Jira Service Management.
  • Create simple, helpful documentation (or even full knowledge base guides).
  • Hop onto ad-hoc projects that give you hands-on experience outside your day-to-day.
  • Support the service desk with testing and technical investigations.
  • Help manage change requests and collaborate across teams to roll them out smoothly.

  • Loves solving problems and figuring out how things work.
  • Can stay calm, positive and friendly even when something breaks.
  • Has great communication skills and enjoys helping people.
  • Can juggle tasks without dropping quality.
  • Is happy to occasionally pitch in with out-of-hours maintenance when needed.
  • Wants to learn — and soak up lots of in-house training on our platforms.

Requirements:

This is a graduate friendly role, so don’t worry if you don’t tick every box yet.

Must-have:

  • Some SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases (from uni, projects or internships).

Big bonus points:

  • Basics of networking infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with API tools like Postman or Insomnia.
  • Exposure to programming languages (C#, .NET, Java, NodeJS, VueJS, AngularJS).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic).
  • Understanding of deployment tools (Argo CD, Octopus).
  • Experience using Jira or Confluence.
