Storyspace Studio is a new creative technology studio designing and building interactive and spatial experiences for brands, exhibitions and environments. We help organisations turn complex products, services and stories into experiences people can explore, understand and remember - from interactive product demos and touchscreen sales tools to VR/AR prototypes, virtual exhibitions, spatial storytelling and real-time visualisations. Our work sits at the intersection of creativity, technology and storytelling, supporting brands, agencies, museums, visitor attractions and product-led companies from early concept through to delivery.

We’re looking for a freelance / part-time New Business Partner to help Storyspace open conversations with relevant brands, agencies and organisations. This is a relationship-led role, focused on identifying opportunities, making introductions, shaping early conversations and helping us build a strong pipeline of potential projects. The ideal person will already understand the creative, experiential, brand, exhibition or technology space and have a good sense of where interactive/spatial experiences could add value. This is not a high-volume cold-calling role. We’re looking for someone commercially minded, strategic and well-connected, who can help Storyspace reach the right people in the right way. The role will initially be structured as a flexible partnership, with a base rate plus commission or project introduction fee for successful opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify relevant brands, agencies and organisations that could benefit from Storyspace’s services.
  • Build and manage a focused outreach pipeline.
  • Open conversations with decision-makers and relevant contacts.
  • Introduce Storyspace to potential clients, collaborators and partners.
  • Help shape outreach messaging and commercial positioning.
  • Spot opportunities around trade shows, product launches, exhibitions, brand activations, training, demos and spatial storytelling.
  • Support early-stage conversations and help qualify potential leads.
  • Work closely with the founder to turn interest into meetings, proposals and projects.

This could suit a freelance New Business Director, Partnerships Manager, Account Director, Producer, Client Services professional or commercially minded connector with experience in creative, experiential, brand or technology-led work.

This role is best suited to someone who understands relationship-led new business within creative, experiential, brand or technology-led work. If this sounds like a good fit, please email hello@storyspace.studio.
