Must haves from you to be a Shift Supervisor:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or higher. Assisted Living/Memory Care experience preferred.
Prior supervisory experience required.

What your day to day looks like as a Shift Supervisor:

Leadership & Supervision

– Provide leadership and supervision to Wellness staff during the afternoon shift.

– Ensure shift coverage, coordinate assignments, and support staff in delivering quality resident care.

– Mentor team members and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Resident Care

– Monitor the health and well-being of residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

– Conduct assessments and respond promptly to changes in residents conditions.

– Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with individualized care plans and company standards.

Clinical Oversight

– Oversee medication administration, treatments, and documentation.

– Ensure compliance with state of Michigan licensing regulations and StoryPoint Group policies.

– Assist in investigations, incident reporting, and implementation of corrective actions when necessary.

– Serve as the point of contact for residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals during the afternoon shift.

– Participate in daily huddles, service conferences as deemed necessary.

– Communicate significant events to the Wellness Director or Executive Director in a timely manner.
