Shift: Part-time 11:30am-8:00pm, must be able to work some weekends.
As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment.
Required Experience
- Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
- Good communication skills are required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
- Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
- Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
- Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
- Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
General Working Conditions
- This position entails standing for long periods of time.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
- The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
