As a New Business Executive, you will be a front‑line revenue generator responsible for acquiring new logos and driving growth across our flagship solutions, including Factiva and Risk & Compliance. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive New Business Growth
    • Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets by acquiring new‑to‑company clients
    • Focus on selling Factiva and Risk & Compliance solutions aligned to client needs
  • Own the Prospecting Motion
    • Identify, research, and target high‑potential organisations and key decision‑makers
    • Proactively generate opportunities through cold calling, email, and social selling
    • Build and maintain a strong, self‑generated pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Qualify & Convert Opportunities
    • Quickly assess prospect fit and prioritise high‑value opportunities
    • Use a consultative sales approach to uncover client challenges and position relevant solutions
    • Deliver compelling value propositions that resonate with business needs
  • Manage the Full Sales Cycle
    • Take deals from initial outreach through to close, engaging specialists when needed
    • Navigate multiple stakeholders and buying centres within target organisations
    • Demonstrate strong objection handling and closing skills
  • Develop Market & Product Expertise
  • Maintain Pipeline Discipline
    • Accurately track all activity, pipeline, and forecasting in CRM
    • Maintain clean, detailed records of prospect interactions and deal progression

What You Bring

  • Ideally 2+ years in a new business role, with a strong emphasis on cold outreach, although attitude is the most important attribute
  • Proven success in acquiring new logos and hitting/exceeding targets
  • Experience selling subscription‑based or information/data solutions
