Story Wood School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious EYFS Class Teacher to join our school from September 2026 or as soon after. We are happy to wait for the right candidate. This is a key role in shaping the early years experience and has a direct impact on delivering the high-quality education our pupils deserve. We are a very friendly and busy school situated in the heart of Perry Common, Birmingham, with a passion for improving the lives of our community. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed classroom practitioner to join our successful team. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate they have:

  • a proven track record of delivering good or outstanding outcomes in EYFS practice
  • high expectations and a commitment to raising standards for all learners
  • the ability to plan and deliver engaging, innovative learning experiences that ignite curiosity and early development
  • effective communication skills and the ability to contribute positively as part of a collaborative team
  • experience and passion for leading a subject.
