About SAVA
All the health information we need is within us. Just below the skin. SAVA is redefining the way people interact with their health by developing the most advanced biosensing technology science has to offer, capable of accessing bodily information in a painless, real-time and affordable way.
The Role
Sava Technologies is hiring a UI Designer to work directly with the founders, product and engineering teams to define the digital experience of our application. This is a hands-on role for someone who cares deeply about how a digital interface feels to use and how information is presented. You will play a key role in shaping our app experience, from interaction design and visual language to accessibility, user flows and the small details that enhance the whole experience beyond just the product.
Here at SAVA, we're building an advanced biosensor for health. The engineering is strong and the data we capture is powerful, but it's only as effective as the experience through which users understand it and act on it.
What You'll Do
- Work alongside our product team and founders to augment and elevate the app experience
- Contribute to user research, usability testing and design reviews to continuously improve the experience
- Translate health data and biosensor inputs into intuitive and visually compelling interfaces
- Iterate quickly based on feedback, data and usage
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible, consistent and implemented accurately
- Help maintain and evolve the existing design system, ensuring consistency as the product grows
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years of professional UI design experience, ideally in a fast-paced product environment
- Experience at a consumer mobile app company or a product-focused design studio or agency
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI work for mobile applications (iOS and Android) with clear evidence of your design thinking and process
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Basic understanding of UX principles alongside strong UI execution
Bonus Points For
- Familiarity with designing for data-heavy or information-dense interfaces
- Exposure to health, wellness or consumer wearable products is a plus, but not essential
Why Sava
This is a high-ownership, high-responsibility role in a company that's building something complex, meaningful, and fast. The expectations are high, the learning curve is steep, and the work is often messy, but the impact is real. You can directly shape how a novel medical device reaches people.
We don't have room for egos or passengers. What we do have is a team of thoughtful, driven, and mission-aligned people committed to building something better and doing it with urgency and integrity.
