About Us

At HelloSelf, we provide therapy and coaching to help people feel and live better. Our innovative video therapy platform connects members with the UK’s leading psychologists and CBT therapists, offering flexibility and convenience. Utilising technology, we extend the boundaries of traditional therapy, harnessing AI to accelerate progress and promote long-term wellness beyond treatment. There are substantial unmet mental health needs within the UK and globally. We’re on a mission to innovate and make Every Self Better. We’re a small, talented, high energy, inclusive and supportive team with strong business and clinical leadership.

About the Role

We’re looking for a qualified CBT therapist who wants to step into a commercial account management position - and who is energised, not deterred, by that shift. You’ll own the full lifecycle of our clinical partnerships - from scoping and go‑live through to growth and renewal. Your primary focus at the outset will be a large, established case management partner, and you’ll be responsible for making that account a success: growing throughput, hitting SLAs, and deepening the relationship commercially. Roughly 60% of your time is account management and partnership work; 40% is direct clinical delivery and providing risk and safeguarding advice/consultation to HelloSelf’s therapy network alongside the Clinical Excellence Team. That clinical component isn’t incidental - seeing members from the accounts you manage is how you stay sharp on what we’re actually delivering, and it’s part of what makes you credible in the room with partners. You’ll also work with Neurodiverse and/or CAMHS members depending on your specialism and the partner’s needs. You’ll report to the Head of Clinical Partnerships and work closely with our Clinical Excellence, Customer Operations and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the partner account
  • Act as the single point of contact for your partner — the face of HelloSelf in every conversation.
  • Drive account growth: increase referral volume, deepen the relationship, and identify upsell and expansion opportunities.
  • Manage the full partner lifecycle from onboarding through go‑live and into business‑as‑usual.
  • Run regular partner check‑ins, deliver outcome reports, and lead commercial reviews.
  • Spot risks early and resolve them before they become problems for the partner or for us.

Make delivery work

  • Ensure SLAs are met and referrals flow cleanly through the system.
  • Coordinate across internal teams — clinical, operations, product — to keep delivery on track.
  • Own the partner briefing, scope documentation and delivery design so there’s always a single source of truth.
  • Track weekly active members and usage data; flag trends and act on them quickly.

Be the clinical voice in the room

  • Conduct a protected clinical caseload (approximately 20% of your time) with members from the accounts you manage, maintaining your BABCP accreditation and clinical standards.
  • Use your direct clinical experience to inform how we improve delivery for the partner — you’re not just reading reports, you’re seeing the work.
  • Represent HelloSelf confidently in clinical and commercial partner meetings — you’re the grown‑up in the room on both dimensions.
  • Liaise with our Clinical Excellence team on quality, outcomes and any clinical concerns arising from your accounts.

Contribute to how we scale

  • Feed insights from partners and members back into product and clinical decisions.
  • Work directly with our product, engineering and design teams to develop and improve our technology and AI solutions — your clinical perspective on what partners and members need is essential input, not a nice‑to‑have.
  • Help shape and refine our clinical account management model as we grow.
  • Support the development of a repeatable, scalable approach to clinical partnerships.

About You

  • Qualified CBT therapist, BABCP accredited with at least 2 years experience post‑qualification.
  • Commercially curious — you’re drawn to the business side of healthcare, not just the clinical side. You want to understand how the commercial model works and you’re motivated by growing an account, not just servicing it.
  • Some exposure to account management, partnerships, or commercial roles — whether inside or outside a clinical setting. Or a compelling reason why you’re ready to make that move.
  • Confident in external meetings: you hold your own with senior stakeholders and represent HelloSelf professionally with partners.
  • Organised and delivery‑focused — you track what you’ve committed to and follow through.
  • Comfortable with data: you can read a report, spot what matters, and act on it.
  • Excellent theoretical understanding and practice of evidence‑based and NICE‑recommended therapies is essential — and you’re genuinely interested in how technology and AI can extend what those therapies can do.
  • Experience in case management, occupational health, insurance or EAP environments is a plus.
  • Experience in safeguarding and managing risk is a plus.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

  • Salary £50–55k depending on experience.
  • Equity — a stake in what we’re building.
  • AXA private medical insurance.
  • Flexible working, with two days per week in our Shoreditch office.
  • Protected clinical caseload to maintain your BABCP accreditation.
  • Direct exposure to the commercial and strategic decisions of a fast‑growing mental health company.
  • A clear path to grow into a senior clinical partnerships or commercial leadership role as we scale.
