About the Role
We're hiring a BizOps Lead to take ownership of a broad set of operational responsibilities across customer service, product operations, operational compliance, and general company operations. This is a handsâon role with real scope: you'll run key processes, improve them, and build lightweight processes and structure around how the company operates.
We're looking for someone ambitious with a consultingâstyle toolkit, strong analytical instincts, and enough management experience to confidently run small teams or operational pods. You don't need decades of experience -- a year or two of leading even one person is fine -- but you do need to be the kind of person who sees messy problems and fixes them.
Key Responsibilities
- You will develop, own and operate a breadth of operational processes across the company and work with a varied and wide ranging set of roles across the company.
- Customer Service
- Oversee customer support workflows.
- Ensure internal and external FAQs stay accurate and up to date.
- Track and improve team performance.
- Ensure timely and detailed feedback to product and engineering teams on customer trends.
- Coordinate Applause testing and followâup.
- Manage translation workflows across product surfaces.
- Run KYC review processes.
- Manage chargebacks queues.
- Handle "unknown card" investigation workflows.
- Own DORA and internal workâmanagement tasks within Vanta.
- Manage ISO 27001 efforts in Vanta.
- Handle HR administration: employment contracts, benefits management and similar tasks.
About You
- Earlyâcareer but sharp: exâconsultant or similar analytical background preferred.
- Some management time under your belt (even one direct report or a short period is fine).
- Comfortable switching contexts and keeping multiple operational areas moving.
- Clear communicator who can work directly with founders and crossâfunctional leads.
- Bias toward tightening processes and removing operational friction rather than creating bureaucracy.
