Engineer in Chorley, Lancashire

Your Story

We are looking for an Engineer to join our team in the North West region, based in our Chorley office. Story Homes are undergoing an exciting period of growth, having secured a number of new development sites which we are looking to bring forward in the short to medium term. We are also active in the land acquisition market to secure additional opportunities. This has created an opportunity within the business for an Engineer to join the team and support with preparing and reviewing technical engineering information to support these schemes.

This role will involve delivering detailed engineering viability information to support the land acquisition process and supporting with tender and construction engineering drawing preparation. The successful candidate will support the Story Homes vision and growth plans by managing schemes from a technical perspective from conception through to handover and issue of the engineering construction pack. We are looking for someone with pre development engineering experience in the housebuilding industry or relevant contracting or consultancy backgrounds, excellent attention to detail and good multi-project management and IT skills including AutoCAD and Microsoft.
