The Role

As a Project Manager at Story Contracting you will lead a work bank of projects from inception to successful conclusion along with leading multi-team collaboration to foster a joint approach to project design, development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams through design, development and delivery with effective project management.
  • Maximise commercial performance of projects to achieve and exceed business plan.
  • Lead by example to embed high HSQE standards in project teams.
  • Ensure engineering compliance and strive for engineering excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

The Ideal Candidate will be/have:

  • Recognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive working knowledge of civil engineering with experience in water AMP frameworks, marine civils and renewable energy.
  • An understanding of other disciplines such as MEP, MEICA and systems integration (desirable).
  • Effective leadership and confident decision maker.
  • Responsibility and management of project budgets.
  • The ability to understand client requirements and transfer these in delivering projects.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Discipline and skills to create and maintain a positive team energy.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of workload effectively.
  • Excellent IT skills across MS Office.
  • CSCS card professionally qualified or black card.
  • A safety qualification such as NEBOSH or SMSTS (desirable).
  • Full driving licence.
