The Role
As a Project Manager at Story Contracting you will lead a work bank of projects from inception to successful conclusion along with leading multi-team collaboration to foster a joint approach to project design, development and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams through design, development and delivery with effective project management.
- Maximise commercial performance of projects to achieve and exceed business plan.
- Lead by example to embed high HSQE standards in project teams.
- Ensure engineering compliance and strive for engineering excellence.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.

The Ideal Candidate will be/have:
- Recognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- Extensive working knowledge of civil engineering with experience in water AMP frameworks, marine civils and renewable energy.
- An understanding of other disciplines such as MEP, MEICA and systems integration (desirable).
- Effective leadership and confident decision maker.
- Responsibility and management of project budgets.
- The ability to understand client requirements and transfer these in delivering projects.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Discipline and skills to create and maintain a positive team energy.
- Ability to manage a high volume of workload effectively.
- Excellent IT skills across MS Office.
- CSCS card professionally qualified or black card.
- A safety qualification such as NEBOSH or SMSTS (desirable).
- Full driving licence.
