We have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join our Team based in our London office and supporting the South & Central Team.

The Role

As an Estimator you will be working in the Pre-Construction Team, playing a vital role in supporting the tender process, helping to create competitive bids and maximise our pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, building relationships and contributing to the region’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating project costs and resources, preparing tender submissions that minimise risk and maximise profit.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers.
  • Work effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and clear project handovers.
  • Support value engineering initiatives and collaborate with engineering, planning and commercial teams.
  • Support the development of junior members of the estimating team.
  • Support continuous improvement by enhancing processes and helping strengthen our work-winning capabilities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a civil engineering, construction or commercial background working on projects in the Rail, Highways, Water, or Energy Sectors.
  • Has proficient skills in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Estimating experience.
  • Has excellent attention to detail & a methodical approach to work.
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in client-facing environments.
