We have a number of exciting opportunities for Trainee Civil Engineers to join our Story Scotland Early Careers Programme, based in our Blantyre office with travel required to sites - and there has never been a better time to join!
At Story you will be supported by a welcoming and inclusive team to gain experience of a variety of Civils and Railway projects. As a Trainee Engineer, you will be learning on the job as a valuable member of the team, responsible for assisting in engineering disciplines whilst learning from our site team and will have the opportunity to manage and build client relationships.
In addition to this, you will attend university part-time through the Civil Engineering Graduate Apprenticeship, working towards your BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering. This unique route allows you to gain practical experience on live projects while earning your degree, combining academic learning with hands-on industry skills.
Entry RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have the suitable entry requirements for the University course (SQA Highers at AABB or BBBBC, or equivalent including Maths). Driving license will be advantageous. Experience in Construction or the Civils environment is not required as you will learn all of this with Story Scotland.
