About Us
At Story Nights, we host weekly wine evenings and special events across our Wandsworth, St John\'s Hill and Liverpool Street locations. Our mission is to create welcoming spaces where people can share wine, stories, and connection. We\'re now looking for a Wine Manager & Events Coordinator to lead our wine program and support the delivery of events, helping us grow and refine this exciting part of the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about hospitality and guest experience, with a genuine interest for wine. You\'ll host our wine evenings, liaise with suppliers, support events across sites, and develop systems that keep everything running smoothly. It\'s ideal for a confident and organised natural host who wants to deepen their knowledge of wine and event management while leading a small, enthusiastic team.
What You\'ll Be Doing
- Hosting and leading wine evenings, making guests feel welcome and engaged
- Introducing wines, encouraging discussion, and sharing their stories (training provided)
- Building and managing a strong team to support events
- Liaising with suppliers and partners to ensure smooth stock and event delivery
- Supporting planning and set-up of corporate, private and in-house events
- Developing systems for stock control, staff scheduling, and event checklists
- Shaping guest experiences tailored to different venues (local vs. corporate focus)
What We\'re Looking For
- Confident, warm, and approachable with excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A proactive problem-solver who can take initiative and lead by example
- Enthusiastic learner with a passion for wine and events
- Flexible with evening and weekend shifts, and able to work across multiple sites
- Previous hospitality, events, or wine knowledge is a bonus (training provided)

Pay: From £12.80 per hour
